A software designer for many years, Chris yearned for a full-time return to the wood crafting space he’s loved since the 1980s. Chris started his woodworking career as a framing carpenter building hunting cabins with his uncle across central Pennsylvania’s rural hunting areas. Later, when settled in the Greater Philadelphia area, he remained active in the craft, eventually building a small business designing, building, and shipping craftsman and mission style furniture locally and across the USA.

Lazy Gretl Wood Works represents a return to commercial wood crafting, focusing on a blend of mission and modern styles, bringing elegantly designed furnishes to clients’ everyday needs.
